Jonathan Koensgen is a Canadian actor with a career spanning television, film, stage, and voice work. Born in 1986 in Ottawa, Ontario, he began acting at the age of nine, frequently appearing on stage at the National Arts Centre. He later moved to Toronto, where he established a successful acting career. Jonathan is known for his versatility, performing in both English and French productions across genres ranging from drama to science fiction.He has appeared in numerous television series including ReGenesis, Copper, Murdoch Mysteries, Call Me Fitz, Mary Kills People, Reign, Alias Grace, Star Trek: Discovery, V-Wars, Reacher (where he played Stevenson), and FUBAR. His film credits include Heavy, Boy City (as Magnus), and The Silent Hour (as Sal Moretti).In addition to screen acting, Jonathan has an extensive background in voice work. As a child, he voiced Tommy Tibble in the animated series Arthur and contributed to other cartoons such as Blazing Dragons. He is also active in the Canadian theatre scene and is the son of actor John Koensgen, continuing a family tradition of performance.
