
Julanne Chidi Hill
Julanne Chidi Hill is an American actress born in 1970. She has an extensive career in both film and television, with credits including roles in "Foster Boy," "VHYes," "All Rise," "black-ish," "Ray Donovan," "Weeds," "Crank: High Voltage," and "Barbershop 2: Back in Business." She has also had recurring roles on shows for CBS, Showtime, and Netflix. In addition to her on-screen work, she is a theater actress and has received awards for her stage performances, including a Stage Raw Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for "Booty Candy" and an LA Drama Critics Circle Award for Best Ensemble for her work in "We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia." She has also performed internationally with the Scotland-based theatre company, Visible Fictions. Beyond her acting career, Julanne Chidi Hill is an acting coach and educator. She has taught acting, speech, and devised theatre and has brought Shakespeare to classrooms, providing training and workshops to teachers in the Pasadena and L.A. Unified School Districts. She holds a B.F.A. from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film and received classical training at Oxford.
