Julián Tello is a Mexican child actor who gained recognition for his role as Lucca in Lucca’s World (2025), originally titled Los dos hemisferios de Lucca. His casting was particularly significant because he was selected from over 200 children with cerebral palsy to portray the lead character.Diagnosed with cerebral palsy at eight months old, Julián has defied medical expectations with his resilience and determination. His mother, Mariana Tello, recalls that doctors were uncertain about his ability to write or walk, but his progress has been remarkable.Filming Lucca’s World was a transformative experience for him, lasting nearly a year and including a 20-day shoot in India. He formed close bonds with his co-stars, Bárbara Mori and Juan Pablo Medina, and cherished moments like sharing pan dulce with Mori and joking around on set.Beyond acting, Julián enjoys reading, Spanish classes, and watching Mr. Beast videos on YouTube. He is also a fan of Chivas (Liga MX) and the Kansas City Chiefs (NFL).
