Justin Cornwell
Justin Michael Cornwell (born November 5, 1988) is an American actor, writer, and musician. Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania, he spent his formative years in Cleveland, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky. He pursued acting at the University of Louisville and later moved to Chicago, where he began his professional career at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.Cornwell gained early television experience with appearances in "Chicago P.D." and "Empire." His breakthrough role came in 2017 when he starred as Kyle Craig in the CBS crime drama series "Training Day," based on the 2001 film. He has since taken on diverse roles, including Terrence Shye in the limited series "I Am the Night," Damien Asante in "The InBetween," and Marcus Hargreeves in the popular Netflix series "The Umbrella Academy." In 2023 and 2024, he had a recurring role as Lamarcus Alton in the Peacock series "Bel-Air."In film, Cornwell portrayed the young Jeronicus Jangle in the Netflix musical "Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey." In the 2025 Netflix action thriller "Havoc," he plays Charlie, the estranged son of a politician whom Tom Hardy's character must rescue. He also has a role in the upcoming short film "Operation: Double Victory" (2025). Beyond acting, Cornwell is a writer and producer, with the international release of "Million Dollar Bet" in 2024. He is also involved in music and illustration.
