Justin H. Min

Justin Hong-Kee Min, born on March 20, 1990, in Cerritos, California, is an American actor of Korean descent. He graduated from Cerritos High School in 2007 and went on to attend Cornell University, where he earned degrees in Government and English in 2011, having also served on the Student Assembly as the Minority Liaison. Prior to his acting career, Min worked as a journalist and photographer for various magazines. He began acting in 2012, with early roles in TV series such as Faking It, CSI: Cyber, and Pure Genius, and also collaborated with the independent production company Wong Fu Productions.Min gained international recognition for his breakout role as Ben Hargreeves in the hit Netflix original series The Umbrella Academy (2019–2024), a character who was expanded significantly from his comic book counterpart and became a fan favorite. His critically acclaimed performance as the title character in the A24 science fiction film After Yang (2021), opposite Colin Farrell, further showcased his dramatic range. More recently, he appeared as Edwin in the Emmy-winning Netflix series BEEF (2023) and as David Park in the romantic fantasy film The Greatest Hits (2024). Justin H. Min is also known for being a second cousin to actress Ashley Park. He is a Christian and is actively working on improving his Korean to participate in more Korean productions, expressing a desire to promote positive Asian representation in media.
