Kalyani Priyadarshan is an Indian actress known for her work in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu films. Born on April 5, 1993, in Chennai, she is the daughter of renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy.She began her career in the film industry behind the scenes, working as an assistant production designer and an assistant art director. She made her acting debut in the 2017 Telugu film Hello, for which she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She later made her Malayalam film debut in 2020 with Varane Avashyamund.She has since starred in several successful films, including the 2022 films Hridayam and Thallumaala. In 2025, she took on a new role as the titular character in the superhero film Lokah: Chapter 1 - Chandra.
