Kaori Takeshita (竹下かおり), born on November 14, 1966, in Osaka, Japan, is a Japanese film and theatrical actress. She received extensive training in acting, graduating from the Kansai Arts Theater. Takeshita began her career on the stage and has since appeared in numerous films, showcasing her versatility, particularly in portraying mothers. Her filmography includes a wide range of roles in movies such as "The Name" (2018), "Tangerines on Cat" (2014), "I Just Didn't Do It" (2007), and "Shining Boy & Little Randy" (2005). She also played the main character in "The Garden Apartment" (2019), which was nominated at the International Film Festival Rotterdam. More recently, she is listed as part of the main cast in the 2025 Japanese drama and romance film "Aichaku."
