Karina Bautista
Karina Bautista is a Filipino actress and former reality TV personality, best known for her appearance on Pinoy Big Brother: Otso in 2018, where she was dubbed the “Miss Independent of Isabela” and finished as a finalist. Born on April 29, 2002, Karina grew up in Isabela province under the care of her grandmother and relatives, as both her parents were overseas Filipino workers. She began living independently at the age of 13, moving into a boarding house to pursue her education and personal growth. Following her stint on PBB, Karina launched her acting career through ABS-CBN’s Rise Artist Studios in 2021. She gained recognition for her roles in teleseryes such as Sandugo (2019), Viral Scandal (2021), and Hoy, Love You! (2021–2022). She also starred in the iWantTFC series Ampalaya Chronicles: Labyu Hehe (2020) and The Four Bad Boys and Me (2020). In 2024, Karina joined the Philippine Navy Reserve, completing her Basic Citizen Military Course and earning the rank of Seaman 1st Class. Karina is also pursuing a degree in Multimedia Arts with a major in Animation at Enderun Colleges, balancing her academic pursuits with her acting career.
