Kate Arrington is a highly regarded American actress, primarily known for her extensive and acclaimed work in theater. She has been an ensemble member of the prestigious Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago since 2007, where she has appeared in numerous productions, including East of Eden, Detroit, Belleville, The Hot L Baltimore, The Qualms, A Parallelogram, Pain and the Itch, and The Violet Hour. Her talent has also taken her to Broadway, where she has starred in plays such as Grace (alongside Paul Rudd, Ed Asner, and her husband, Michael Shannon), Our Mother's Brief Affair, and The American Plan. Off-Broadway, she has performed in productions like The Qualms, The Wolves, Iceman Cometh, Happy Now?, and When the Messenger is Hot.Beyond the stage, Arrington has built a substantial film and television career. Her film credits include The Irishman, Eric LaRue (directed by her husband Michael Shannon), Brittany Runs a Marathon, Knives and Skin, Hello I Must Be Going, The Missing Person, and The King of Iron Town.
