Kazuhiro Yamaji is a highly regarded Japanese actor and voice actor (seiyū) born on June 4, 1954, in Mie Prefecture, Japan, and is affiliated with the Seinenza Theater Company. He began his career primarily in stage and screen acting, but transitioned into voice work after a producer was impressed by his distinctive voice during a stage performance. Yamaji is renowned in the field of Japanese dubbing for being the primary voice for many prominent Hollywood actors, including Jason Statham, Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), and Russell Crowe. In anime, he has a massive and recognizable portfolio, featuring major roles such as Silver Fang / Bang in One-Punch Man, Kenny Ackerman in Attack on Titan, and Joji Saiga in Psycho-Pass. Additionally, he has extensive video game credits like Cid Highwind in the Final Fantasy VII series and Makoto Date in the Yakuza series. In 2020, he married fellow voice actress Romi Park.
