Kenric Green

Kenric Green is an American actor, writer, and producer who has been active in the industry since 2006, originating from Southern California. He is widely known for his recurring role as Scott in the popular AMC television series The Walking Dead, where he appeared across seasons 6 through 11. Green has also gained recognition in the Star Trek universe for his role as Mike Burnham (the adoptive father of Michael Burnham) in Star Trek: Discovery and the short-form series Star Trek: Short Treks. Other notable television appearances include guest roles on Hawaii Five-0 and The Originals. Personally, Kenric Green has been married to actress Sonequa Martin-Green (known for The Walking Dead and Star Trek: Discovery) since 2010, and they often collaborate, including in the 2025 biographical drama film Sarah's Oil, where he plays Joe Rector, the father of the titular character, alongside his wife who plays his on-screen spouse, Rose Rector.
