Kevin Allison is an American comedian, writer, actor, and storyteller, born on 1970, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He gained significant recognition as a founding and performing member of the influential sketch comedy troupe The State, which had its own popular series on MTV from 1993 to 1995. On "The State," he was known for characters in sketches such as "Taco Man," "Mr. Magina," and "Dreamboy."Beyond his work with The State, Allison has appeared in various film and television projects, including Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991), Reno 911!: Miami (2007), The Ten (2007), Wedding Daze (2006), and recent roles in Cobra Kai and High Maintenance. He is also slated to appear in the upcoming film Alma & the Wolf (2025).In addition to his acting and writing, Kevin Allison is widely known as the creator and host of the popular storytelling podcast, RISK!, where people share true stories they never thought they'd dare to share. He also runs The Story Studio, a school dedicated to teaching storytelling, and has taught sketch comedy and storytelling classes at institutions like New York University. Allison is also an advocate for the kink/BDSM community.
