Kim Kang-woo is a prominent South Korean actor born on July 11, 1978. He graduated from Chung-Ang University with a major in Theater and Film. While he briefly pursued a singing career in 1998, his acting debut came in 2001 with minor roles in an SBS TV movie and an MBC series. His first significant film role was in "The Coast Guard" (2002), which he landed while still a senior in college. He has since built a diverse filmography, showcasing his talent in various genres.Some of his notable film appearances include "The Aggressives" (2005), which earned him the Best New Actor award at the 6th Busan Film Critics Awards, "The Railroad" (2006), for which he won Best Actor at the 25th Torino Film Festival, "The Taste of Money" (2012), "The Treacherous" (2015), "The Vanished" (2018), "Recalled" (2021), and "The Childe" (2023).
