"Kim Seung-o" is Kim Sung-oh (김성오), a versatile South Korean actor born on September 15, 1978. Having started his career in stage productions in 2000, he made his move to television and film where he established a reputation for masterfully portraying both intense villains and memorable comedic characters. His breakout year was 2010, when he achieved major recognition for two contrasting roles: the ruthless black market organ dealer, Jong-seok, in the critically acclaimed action thriller film The Man from Nowhere, and the endearing, quirky Secretary Kim in the hugely popular fantasy romance drama Secret Garden. Throughout his prolific career, Kim Sung-oh has continued to showcase his range in various film and television roles, including the winning of the Excellence Award at the KBS Drama Awards for the one-act drama Becky's Back (2016) and a supporting actor award for the series Fight for My Way (2017). His later notable works include his roles in the dramas Lies Hidden in My Garden (2023) and Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area (2022), and the films Kill Boksoon (2023) and 12.12: The Day (2023). He married a non-celebrity in December 2014, and the couple has one son.
