Kristin Slaysman is an American actress, producer, and director known for her work in independent films and television. A graduate of Northwestern University, she began her career in theater before moving to Los Angeles and transitioning to film and TV.Slaysman has appeared in a variety of television shows, including guest roles on popular series such as Grey's Anatomy, American Horror Story, Masters of Sex, and Perry Mason. She had recurring roles on shows like L.A.'s Finest and The Last Tycoon.Her film credits include roles in Gus Van Sant's Promised Land, About Last Night, and the musical La La Land. She is also known for her collaborations with independent filmmakers. For instance, she starred in and co-produced Dr. Brinks & Dr. Brinks (2017), a film that was written by her partner Josh Crockett. More recently, she appeared in the 2025 film The Threesome. Beyond acting, she has also worked as a producer on several projects, including the short film Blocks and the feature film The Icarus Line Must Die.
