Lauren Collins is a Canadian actress best known for her long-running role as Paige Michalchuk on the hit teen drama series, Degrassi: The Next Generation, which she played from 2001 until her departure in 2008 and reprised for various specials. Born on August 29, 1986, in Thornhill, Ontario, Collins began her acting career in 1998 with roles in various television series. Beyond her iconic role on Degrassi, her career includes a notable recurring role as Kendra in the family sitcom Life with Derek and appearances in films such as Take the Lead (2006) alongside Antonio Banderas and Charlie Bartlett (2007).
