Lee Je-hoon

Lee Je-hoon (born July 4, 1984) is a highly acclaimed South Korean actor who has established himself as a versatile and compelling performer in both independent and mainstream film and television. After discovering his passion for acting in college, he made the significant decision to drop out of Korea University to pursue formal training at the School of Drama at the Korea National University of Arts.He first gained critical attention for his roles in independent films, particularly his powerful performance as Gi-tae in "Bleak Night" (2011), which earned him numerous "Best New Actor" awards, including at the Blue Dragon Film Awards and Grand Bell Awards. He further showcased his talent in the Korean War blockbuster "The Front Line" (2011) and achieved mainstream popularity with the romantic hit "Architecture 101" (2012).Lee Je-hoon has since built an impressive and diverse filmography. On television, he is widely recognized for his lead roles in the critically acclaimed fantasy crime drama "Signal" (2016), the heartwarming and poignant Netflix original "Move to Heaven" (2021), and the highly popular action crime series "Taxi Driver" (2021-Present), where he plays a vigilante taxi driver. His film work includes "Anarchist from Colony" (2017), "I Can Speak" (2017), "Time to Hunt" (2020), "Collectors" (2020), and "Escape" (2024). In 2025, he starred as Choi In-beom in the South Korean drama film "Big Deal."
