Lee Jong-suk, born on September 14, 1989, in Seoul, South Korea, is a globally renowned South Korean actor, singer, and model, considered one of the leading figures of the Hallyu wave. He began his career as a runway model in 2005, making history as the youngest male model to debut at Seoul Fashion Week. Although he initially trained to debut as an idol group member, he eventually pursued acting, making his official debut in the 2010 TV series "Prosecutor Princess."His breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed teen drama "School 2013" (2012), which earned him his first acting award. He further cemented his leading man status with a string of highly successful dramas such as "I Can Hear Your Voice" (2013), where he played a mind-reading character; "Doctor Stranger" (2014); "Pinocchio" (2014), which garnered him significant recognition and multiple awards; and the fantasy romance "W" (2016), for which he won the Grand Prize (Daesang) at the MBC Drama Awards.
