Lei Jiayin (born August 29, 1983) is a highly accomplished Chinese actor who has garnered significant acclaim for his work in both film and television. A graduate of the Shanghai Theatre Academy, he began his career in the early 2000s and has since become one of China's most popular and respected performers. He is known for his versatility, having successfully transitioned from a breakout role in a television drama to leading parts in major cinematic blockbusters.Lei's notable works include the television series The First Half of My Life (2017) and A Lifelong Journey (2022), the latter for which he achieved a "Grand Slam" of China's three major TV drama awards: the Flying Apsaras Awards, the Golden Eagle Awards, and the Magnolia Awards. In film, he has starred in a number of commercially successful and critically acclaimed movies, such as How Long Will I Love U (2018), A Writer's Odyssey (2021), and Zhang Yimou's Full River Red (2023) and Article 20 (2024). His performance as the prosecutor Han Ming in Article 20 earned him the Best Actor award at the 37th Golden Rooster Awards.
