Lera Abova (born November 4, 1992, in Slavgorod, Siberia, Russia) is a Russian-born actress and fashion model known for her distinctive presence in both the fashion and film industries. Raised in a small Siberian village, she moved to Germany at the age of 13. Her modeling career began serendipitously at 17 when she was discovered while working at a bar. She quickly gained recognition in the fashion world, gracing the covers of major magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Numéro Tokyo, and walking the runways for renowned designers including Chanel, Moschino, and Acne Studios . Abova transitioned into acting with her debut role as Maude in Luc Besson’s 2019 action-thriller Anna. She further showcased her acting talents in the 2022 Peacock series Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin, portraying Thea "DJ Das Boot" Krämer. In 2023, she appeared in the Netflix series Exterritorial as Irina/Kira and is set to star in Ethan Coen’s upcoming film Honey Don’t.
