Lewis Pullman is an American actor known for his versatile performances in both film and television. Born on January 29, 1993, in Los Angeles, California, he is the son of actor Bill Pullman and dancer Tamara Hurwitz. Growing up in a creative household, Lewis developed an early interest in acting and pursued his craft at the School at Steppenwolf in Chicago. He made his on-screen debut in 2016 with the horror film The Strangers: Prey at Night, followed by roles in Bad Times at the El Royale (2018) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022), where he portrayed Lt. Robert "Bob" Floyd. His performance in Lessons in Chemistry (2023) as Calvin earned him critical acclaim and an expanded role due to his outstanding performance. In addition to acting, Lewis is the drummer for the band Atta Boy, which released their second album, Big Heart Manners, in 2020. He has also expressed interest in potentially portraying his father's role, Dr. James Harvey, in a Casper prequel, emphasizing his respect for his father's performance.
