Lewis Tan is a British-American actor, martial artist, and model. Born on February 4, 1987, in Salford, Greater Manchester, England, he is the son of Philip Tan, a martial artist, actor, and stunt coordinator, and Joanne Cassidy, a retired fashion model. Growing up, Tan lived in various places including China, France, and Spain, and was trained in martial arts from a young age by his father. He has a diverse background in martial arts, including Muay Thai, Kung Fu, Japanese swordplay, and kickboxing.Tan's career has seen him transition from stunt work to acting. He has appeared in films such as The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End as a stunt performer. He has also had a number of television roles, with appearances on shows like CSI: Miami, CSI: NY, Hawaii Five-0, and NCIS: Los Angeles. He gained recognition for his acting in television with recurring roles in Into the Badlands, Wu Assassins, and Shadow and Bone.In film, Tan's profile has been steadily rising.
