Lex Shrapnel

Lex Shrapnel, born Alexander Carey Shrapnel on October 6, 1979, in London, England, is a British actor and producer. He comes from a distinguished acting family; his father was the late actor John Shrapnel, and his mother is Francesca Ann Bartley. Through his mother, he is the grandson of the renowned Academy Award-nominated actress Deborah Kerr and Anthony C. Bartley. He is also the brother of director/writer Tom Shrapnel and writer Joe Shrapnel. Lex graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and has built a solid career in film, television, and theatre since the late 1990s. He is known for his roles in films such as Captain America: The First Avenger, K-19: The Widowmaker, Thunderbirds, and Extinction, as well as television series like A Town Called Malice, Medici, and Prime Suspect: Tennison. He has also garnered critical acclaim for his stage work, including his role as Hotspur in the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of Henry IV. In addition to acting, Shrapnel has also ventured into producing, including the short film Strange Weather.
