Lily McInerny is an American actress born on December 13, 1998, in New York City. She began acting at the age of eight and later attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. After high school, she pursued a degree in performing arts in Vermont. McInerny's breakout role came in 2022 when she starred in Palm Trees and Power Lines, a film that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Her performance as Lea, a teenager involved in a complex and troubling relationship, earned her a nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance at the 2023 Film Independent Spirit Awards. In addition to her film work, McInerny made her New York stage debut in November 2022 in Bess Wohl's play Camp Siegfried, directed by David Cromer at Second Stage's Tony Kiser Theater.
