Linda Kash is a prolific Canadian actress, writer, and director, widely known for her extensive career in comedy, film, and television. Born on January 17, 1961, in Montreal, Quebec, she is the daughter of renowned opera singer Maureen Forrester and violinist/conductor Eugene Kash. Linda Kash began her professional life as a cast member and writer at The Second City in Toronto, which she credits as her foundational training.A pivotal and highly recognizable role in her career was playing the Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese Angel in a long-running and successful series of Canadian television commercials. In terms of television and film, she has an impressive resume that includes guest appearances on major American sitcoms like 'Seinfeld' (where she played the lip reader in "The Lip Reader"), 'Everybody Loves Raymond', '3rd Rock from the Sun', and 'Ellen'. She was a main cast member in the 1998 sitcom Style & Substance and had a recurring role in the Canadian series Doc and Robson Arms.Kash has also worked with director Christopher Guest on his mockumentary films, appearing in 'Waiting for Guffman' (1996) and 'Best in Show' (2000). Other notable film credits include 'Cinderella Man' (2005), 'Man of the Year' (2006), A Merry Little Ex-Mas (2025) and the Disney Channel movie 'Cadet Kelly' (2002).
