Born on in 1979 in West Berlin, Lisa Hagmeister is a highly acclaimed German actress distinguished by her intense performances on both the theatrical stage and the silver screen. After successfully completing her acting studies at the prestigious Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin in 2003, she began her professional career as an ensemble member at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, where she quickly garnered critical attention and was named Best Young Actress in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since the 2006/2007 season, Hagmeister has been a cornerstone of the Thalia Theater in Hamburg, collaborating with renowned directors such as Andreas Kriegenburg and Jette Steckel on landmark productions like Urfaust, Dantons Tod, and Dancer in the Dark, the latter of which earned her the Rolf Mares Hamburg Theater Prize in 2019.
