Lo Hoi-Pang is a Hong Kong actor and singer, born on December 21, 1941, in Panyu, Guangdong, China. His career began after he attended TVB's Training Classes in 1973, where he was a classmate of other future stars, including Chow Yun-fat and Ng Man-tat. Active in both television and film since 1974, he is a veteran performer. A significant highlight of his career came in 2012 when he won the 31st Hong Kong Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the film Life Without Principle, which was an honor also bestowed upon him by the 55th Asia-Pacific Film Festival. In recent years, he has faced some health challenges, including undergoing heart bypass surgery in 2018 due to a blocked coronary artery and later revealing he is blind in one eye due to long-term diabetes causing glaucoma. Despite this, he has continued to be active, with recent film appearances including roles in Zero to Hero (2021), Chilli Laugh Story (2022), and Rob N Roll (2024), where he played the character Cha Siu Bao.
