Lorenzo de Moor is a Dutch-Italian actor known for his work in international film and television. Born on October 21, 1994, in The Hague, Netherlands, he was raised in the Tuscany region of Italy, specifically in the city of Prato. He comes from a family with deep roots in the performing arts; his father, Jasper de Moor, and his grandparents were actors, while his mother worked as a costume designer. De Moor began his acting journey at age 15 under the guidance of director Cristina Pezzoli and later moved to New York to train at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, graduating in 2016. Since returning to Europe and basing himself in Rome, he has appeared in various projects including the 2019 Sundance selection Dolce fine giornata, the Italian series Pezzi unici, and the Netflix film Robbing Mussolini (2022). His 2024–2025 credits include the historical drama Brigands: The Quest for Gold, the docuseries Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints, and the Paul Feig comedy thriller Another Simple Favor. In the upcoming 2026 romantic comedy You, Me & Tuscany, de Moor portrays Matteo, a charming Italian man whose empty family villa serves as the primary setting for the story. His character's life becomes complicated when the protagonist, Anna (Halle Bailey), begins staying in the villa and eventually pretends to be his fiancée to appease his formidable mother, Gabriella. Beyond this role, de Moor is involved in several other major upcoming projects, including the action film remake of Cliffhanger alongside Lily James and the biographical film Maserati: The Brothers, where he plays Carlo Maserati.
