Lotta Losten

Lotta Losten is a Swedish actress, designer, and photographer. She was born on November 7, 1981, in Jönköping, Sweden. She is best known for her creative collaborations with her husband, filmmaker David F. Sandberg. They have worked together on numerous projects, including the 2013 short film Lights Out and its 2016 feature film adaptation, as well as the films Annabelle: Creation and Shazam!.Losten's career began with stage acting and narration work in Sweden. She studied theatre history and gender studies at Lund University and also studied acting at Blekinge läns folkhögskola. She has been in several short films, with her film debut being in Cam Closer in 2013. Her role in the viral short film Lights Out, which she made with her husband, brought her to a wider audience. In the feature-length adaptation of Lights Out, she played the role of Esther. Beyond acting, Losten is also a producer and has been involved in developing projects through her and her husband's production company, Mångata.
