Louis Ozawa Changchien, known professionally as Louis Ozawa, is an American actor born on October 11, 1975, in Queens, New York City. Raised between New York City and Japan, he is of Taiwanese and Japanese descent. Ozawa pursued higher education at the University of California, Davis, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology, and later at Brown University, where he received a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in acting.Ozawa's acting career began in 1999 with the film "On the Q.T." Since then, he has built a diverse filmography, appearing in notable films such as "Predators" (2010), where he played the character Hanzo, and "The Bourne Legacy" (2012) as LARX #3. His film credits also include "Fair Game" (2010) and "Spectral" (2016). On television, Ozawa has made guest appearances in numerous popular shows including "Law & Order," "3 lbs.," "Heroes and Villains," "Lights Out," "Blue Bloods," "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.," "Hawaii Five-0," "True Blood," "The Man in the High Castle," "Grey's Anatomy," "Hunters" (as Joe Torrance), and "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" (as Chao Fah Sein). Most recently, he has garnered acclaim for his role as Mamoru Yoshii in the Apple TV+ series "Pachinko." Ozawa is also active in voice work, lending his talents to video games like "Midnight Club: Los Angeles." In 2022, he co-authored "Aliens vs. Predators: Ultimate Prey" with Jonathan Maberry.
