Luisana Lopilato is a highly popular Argentine actress, model, and former singer, born Luisana Loreley Lopilato de la Torre on May 18, 1987, in Buenos Aires. She began her career as a child model and actress, first appearing in commercials and campaigns at a very young age. Her breakthrough came with the successful children's television series "Chiquititas" (Tiny Angels), where she played the character Luisana from 1999 to 2001. She gained international fame for her role as Mía Colucci in the hit teen telenovela "Rebelde Way" (2002-2004), which also led to her being a member of the pop-rock band Erreway.Following "Rebelde Way," Lopilato continued to be a prominent figure in Argentine television, notably starring in "Casados con Hijos" (the Argentine adaptation of "Married... with Children") as Paola Argento, a role that earned her a Martín Fierro Award nomination.
