Luka Peroš

Luka Peroš is a Croatian actor born on October 28, 1976, in Zagreb, SR Croatia, which was then part of Yugoslavia. His early life involved moving around the world due to his father's job, with residences in places like Vienna, Abu Dhabi, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York. He graduated from the American Community School of Abu Dhabi in 1995 and continued his education at Emerson College in Boston, where he earned a BFA in Performing Arts with a major in Acting in 2000. Peroš is a polyglot, reportedly fluent in eight languages. He began his professional career in 1995 and has worked at the Croatian National Theatre in Rijeka and the Zagreb Puppet Theatre, in addition to extensive work as a dubbing and voice actor, performer, puppeteer, and host. He gained international recognition for playing the character of Marseille (Jakov) in the globally popular Netflix series Money Heist (La Casa de Papel) from 2019 to 2021. His other notable film and TV credits include The Photographer of Mauthausen (2018), While at War (2019), Papillon (2017), Mine (2016), and the 2024 series La Academia. He currently lives in Barcelona with his family.
