Luna Blaise
Luna Blaise Boyd (born October 1, 2001, in Los Angeles, California) is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and budding talent in Hollywood . The daughter of Paul Boyd, a director from Glasgow, and actress/talent manager Angelyna Martinez-Boyd (of Mexican-American descent), she began acting at age five—appearing in commercials for brands like McDonald’s, KFC, Target, Gap, Dunkin’ Hines, and Juicy Couture. Her on-screen journey started with the 2008 indie film Vicious Circle, playing Chloe’s younger sister; she later starred as young Nina in James Franco’s Memoria (2013) . In 2014, Blaise earned a recurring role as Nicole on ABC’s Fresh Off the Boat, appearing in 24 episodes and winning a 2016 Young Artist Award for Best Recurring Young Actress (ages 14–21). In 2016, she featured in Jacob Sartorius’s music video Sweatshirt, and followed up with her own singles: “Over You” (2017) and “Secrets” (2018) . Her breakout dramatic role came as Olive Stone in NBC’s hit sci-fi/mystery series Manifest (2018–2023), solidifying her presence as a lead actress. Beyond acting, Luna is an advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and mental health, trained in Russian ballet for a decade, and aspires to one day direct and produce, citing inspirations like Steven Spielberg and Guillermo del Toro. Standing about 5′ 5″ (1.65 m), Blaise has already amassed over a million Instagram followers and is now poised to make her major feature-film debut in Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025), playing Teresa Delgado.
