Luv Ranjan is a prominent Indian film director, writer, and producer best known for helming a series of successful romantic comedies and slice-of-life films in Hindi cinema, which often explore contemporary relationship dynamics from a youthful perspective. Born on September 29, 1982, in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, he is an alumnus of Hindu College, Delhi University. He made a notable directorial debut in 2011 with the sleeper hit, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, which gained immense popularity for its relatable, dialogue-heavy portrayal of three young men and their relationship woes. This success was followed by Akaash Vani (2013) and the even more successful sequel, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015).His directorial career peaked with the 2018 romantic comedy Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which became a major commercial blockbuster and solidified his signature style, often featuring actors like Kartik Aaryan and Nushrratt Bharuccha.
