A transgender woman who began her transition after moving to New York City at age 18, Rodman became a prominent figure in the Brooklyn queer art and nightlife scene. She was known for hosting "Bathsalts," a weekly alternative drag show, and has since established a career as a musician and artist.Rodman's musical style is a unique blend of punk, rock, and 90s-inspired club-pop beats, drawing comparisons to artists like Tori Amos, PJ Harvey, Björk, and Courtney Love.
