Madeleine Arthur is a Canadian-American actress, born in Vancouver, British Columbia, on March 10, 1997. Before she began her acting career, Arthur was a competitive gymnast for 13 years. She attended Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School and was a co-valedictorian of her graduating class. Her acting journey started with guest roles in television shows like Supernatural, The Tomorrow People, and The Killing. Arthur's film debut came in 2014 with Tim Burton's biographical film Big Eyes, where she played the daughter of Amy Adams' character. She is widely recognized for her role as Christine in the popular Netflix film series To All the Boys I've Loved Before (2018-2021). She has also appeared in other notable projects, including the television series Devil in Ohio, Blockbuster, and Snowpiercer, and the Nicolas Cage-led horror film Color Out of Space. Most recently, she was cast in the 2025 romantic comedy The Wrong Paris.
