Marcel Hensema, born on October 25, 1970, in Winschoten, Netherlands, is a highly acclaimed Dutch actor known for his versatility across film, television, and theatre. He graduated from the prestigious Maastricht Theatre Academy and is fluent in five languages: Dutch, English, German, Italian, and Spanish. With a career spanning over 70 productions both in the Netherlands and internationally, Hensema has established himself as one of the country's most respected actors. He has received significant recognition for his work, including two Golden Calf awards, the Dutch equivalent of a BAFTA: one for Best Actor in the film Wild Romance (2007) and another for Best Supporting Actor in In My Father's Garden (2016).
