Marcelo Médici
Marcelo Médici (born January 6, 1972, in São Paulo, Brazil) is a well-known Brazilian actor and comedian. He began his career in theater, training with acclaimed director Antunes Filho at CPT and also studying at Célia Helena Theater School. He has performed in over 25 stage productions, gaining major recognition for his work in Terça Insana (a popular comedy show) and for writing and starring in the solo comedy Cada Um com Seus Pobrema, which was both critically acclaimed and a commercial success. On television, Médici made his debut in 1997 and went on to star in major Brazilian soap operas such as Belíssima (as Fladson), Passione (as Mimi), Joia Rara, and the miniseries O Canto da Sereia. He is also widely known for playing the comedic character Sanderson in the hit sitcom Vai Que Cola. In film, he debuted in the political drama Getúlio (2014) and later appeared in family comedies like Double Dad (Pai em Dobro) and Undercover Party Crasher (Missão Porto Seguro). In addition to acting, Médici is a writer, director, and producer, and has received accolades such as the Multishow Humor Award for his stand-up performances. Despite his fame, he keeps his personal life very private and has been in a long-term relationship, reportedly married for over 28 years.
