Marcos Carnevale is an Argentine film director, screenwriter, and producer, born on September 4, 1963, in Inriville, Córdoba, Argentina. He began his career in marketing in 1983 and later founded his own production house, Millecento Cinema, in 1991, through which he created numerous award-winning commercials. Carnevale made his directorial and screenwriting debut in film with "Noche de ronda" (1997). He has since directed and written many acclaimed films, including "Elsa y Fred" (2005), "Anita" (2009), "Heart of a Lion" (2013), "So Much Love to Give" (2020), "Goyo" (2024), and "The Heart Knows" (2025). In addition to his work in cinema, he has an extensive career as a screenwriter and director for television series, serving as a content manager for Pol-ka Producciones. He has been married to Lily Ann Martin since 1987, and they have two children.
