María Pedraza Morillo is a Spanish actress, dancer, and model who was born on January 26, 1996, in Madrid, Spain. She is a versatile artist whose career began with a strong foundation in ballet, having trained as a professional dancer. Pedraza was discovered in a modern way when film director Esteban Crespo found her through her Instagram account and invited her to audition for his debut film, Amar (2017), where she won the female lead role of Laura.Her acting career quickly gained national and international recognition through her work on Spanish television series that were acquired by Netflix. Her second project was the role of Alison Parker, the daughter of the British ambassador to Spain, in La casa de papel (Money Heist). Following this, in early 2018, she starred as Marina Nunier Osuna in the Netflix original series Eˊlite, alongside fellow Money Heist cast members. She also took on the role of Triana Marín in the series Toy Boy (2019–present). In film, her notable roles include a lead in Quieˊn te llevarıˊas a una isla desierta? (Who Would You Take to a Deserted Island?) (2019), Las nin~as de cristal (Dancing on Glass) (2022), Awareness (2023), and El correo (The Courier) (2024).
