Mark Stolzenberg

Mark Stolzenberg is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, physical comedian, and circus artist known for his work in film, stage, and education. He began his career as a clown with the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus before transitioning to acting and comedy in New York City. His acting credits include principal roles on television shows such as Bull (CBS) and Boardwalk Empire (HBO), as well as appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman and All My Children. On film, he was a principal in Tom Selleck's Her Alibi and starred in Luggage of the Gods. Stolzenberg is a respected acting teacher, serving as a Part-time Associate Professor at The School of Drama at The New School and as the Founding Director of The New York Acting School For Film and Television. Additionally, he is an author of three theatre books on clowning and mime, and his screenwriting work includes a feature-length screenplay that was a finalist at the Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab. He is also the Executive Director of Circle of Life Films LLC and the director of Assemblies In Schools, a national organization providing educational programs.
