Marta Hazas Cuesta is a Spanish actress born in Santander, Spain, on December 31, 1977. She is a versatile performer who began her career young, appearing in short films, theater productions, and television series. Hazas holds a degree in Information Sciences and also received artistic training in Spanish dance and drama, having studied dramatic arts at the Cristina Rota School.Her breakthrough television role was as Amelia Ugarte in the series El internado (The Boarding School) (2007–2010). She is also well-known for starring as Sara Reeves in the daily series Bandolera (2011–2013), and for her main role as Clara Montesinos Martín in the popular fashion drama series Velvet (2014–2016) and its sequel Velvet Colección (2017–2019). Other significant TV works include Gran Hotel (2013), Pequeñas coincidencias (Small Coincidences) (2018–2021), and Días mejores (Better Days) (2022).
