Guiliano Marthino Lio is an accomplished Indonesian actor, singer, and model, born on January 26, 1989, in Surabaya, East Java. He launched his entertainment career as a model in 2004, later transitioning into acting, appearing in numerous soap operas and films. His career breakthrough in film came with roles such as Raden Mas Rangsang in the 2018 historical epic, Sultan Agung: Tahta, Perjuangan, Cinta, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Indonesian Film Festival (FFI). Lio is celebrated for his compelling and transformative performances, most notably in the 2021 film Vengeance Is Mine, All Others Pay Cash (Seperti Dendam, Rindu Harus Dibayar Tuntas), a role that secured him the Citra Award for Best Actor at the 2022 FFI. His other notable works include the action-comedy The Big 4 (2022), which earned him a Citra Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2023, and the HBO Asia miniseries Grisse. In addition to acting, Marthino Lio is a talented singer who performed the duet "Ratusan Purnama" with Melly Goeslaw for the Ada Apa Dengan Cinta? 2 soundtrack, which won the FFI for Best Soundtrack in 2016.
