Martin Todsharow

Martin Todsharow, born on September 6, 1967, in Berlin, is a German composer, producer, and lecturer. He studied piano, counterpoint, and composition at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin from 1989 to 1994. Since 1997, he has worked as a professional film composer, producer, music supervisor, and lecturer at various film academies. In 2004, he became a professor at the Konrad Wolf Film University of Babelsberg.Todsharow is known for his versatility, composing music that ranges from minimalistic and experimental club sounds to large orchestral scores. He has composed for over 100 films and television shows, including Desert Flower (2009), Head Full of Honey (2014), The Captain (2017), Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins (2021), and the recent Netflix film Fall for Me (2025). His work has earned him several awards, including the German Film Critics' Best Music Award and the German Music Authors' Prize for Film Music Composition.
