Martyn Ford
Martyn Ford (born 26 May 1982 in Minworth, Birmingham, England) is an English bodybuilder, social media influencer, and actor known for his towering 6 ft 8 in (203 cm) frame and muscular physique. He initially pursued a career in cricket with the Warwickshire youth team, but at 19, a severe injury and glandular fever led to depression and dramatic weight loss. Determined to rebuild, Ford embraced bodybuilding and eventually founded his own gym, Beta Bodz, establishing himself as a fitness trainer and online personality. Over the years, he's attracted a massive following—over 3 million across social platforms—and earned nicknames like “The Nightmare” and “Hulk”. Ford made his screen debut in 2016’s Boyka: Undisputed IV as Koshmar, and went on to appear in films like Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Accident Man, Redcon‑1, Final Score (2018), and joined the Fast & Furious franchise in F9 (2021) . On TV, he’s appeared in shows such as Of Kings and Prophets, Benidorm, The Nevers, and The Sandman . In June 2023, he was announced to portray Shao Kahn in the upcoming Mortal Kombat 2. Beyond entertainment, Ford is a prominent fitness entrepreneur, launching supplement lines and coaching programs. He maintains a high-calorie diet—between 4,500 to 8,000 daily—to sustain his immense physique. Married to Sacha Stacey since 2009, they have three children: daughters Imogen, Wynter, and son Maddox.
