Masaki Okada
Masaki Okada is a prominent Japanese actor born on August 15, 1989, in Tokyo, who quickly established himself as a versatile performer in film and television after beginning his career around 2006. He achieved early recognition for roles in dramas like Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (2007) and gained critical acclaim for his lead role in the 2009 film I Give My First Love to You. His dramatic work earned him multiple Best Newcomer awards, including a Newcomer of the Year award at the 33rd Japan Academy Film Prize for his performances in Villain and Confessions. He has since taken on varied and notable roles, such as Kōji Takatsuki in the Academy Award-winning film Drive My Car (2021), and Kotaro Katsura in the live-action Gintama films (2017, 2018).
