Mason Fung Ho-Yeung (Chinese: 馮皓揚; born in 2004 in Hong Kong) is a talented and rapidly rising Hong Kong actor. Diagnosed with Asperger syndrome and ADHD during primary school, he faced challenges with speaking and bullying, which led his mother to enroll him in acting classes to help improve his verbal communication. His early acting experiences included commercials and music videos, and he made his film debut as a child actor at age 15 in the 2019 sports film We Are Legends.Fung gained significant critical acclaim and widespread recognition for his portrayal of the teenage So Wa Wai in the 2021 biographical film Zero to Hero, which depicted the life of the Paralympic-winning athlete. His powerful and innate performance earned him the Best Supporting Actor award at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2022, along with a nomination for Best New Performer. Following this success, he made the decision to leave school to pursue acting full-time, a move supported by his family.In 2024, Mason Fung continued to expand his diverse filmography. He took on a starring role as the autistic brother of Venus Wong in the TVB crime series Forensic Heroes VI: Redemption. He also played a key role as Ma Ka-kit, the wrongly accused defendant, in Donnie Yen's action-thriller and courtroom drama film The Prosecutor.
