Massimo Venturiello

Massimo Venturiello is a distinguished Italian actor, voice actor, and theatre director, born on August 4, 1957, in Roccadaspide, in the Province of Salerno, Italy. He trained at the Silvio D'Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome, graduating in 1982. Venturiello immediately embarked on an intense and acclaimed theatre career, making his stage debut in William Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus, directed by Gabriele Lavia, and subsequently working with major figures like Luca Ronconi and Giampiero Solari. He earned critical acclaim for roles in plays such as The Rose Tattoo alongside Valeria Moriconi and Masaniello. On screen, he is known for his role as Rudy in Gabriele Salvatores' film "Marrakech Express" and has appeared in numerous Italian television series, including Distretto di polizia 6 as Cesare Carrano, and Il capo dei capi as Commissario Angelo Mangano. More recently, he is part of the cast of Paolo Sorrentino's film "La Grazia" (2025), playing the role of Ugo Romani, the Justice Minister. Furthermore, Venturiello is a prolific voice actor, having provided the Italian voice for characters like Sirius Black (Gary Oldman) in the Harry Potter franchise and Hades (James Woods) in the animated film Hercules.
