Mateusz Damięcki is a Polish actor, born on May 19, 1981, in Warsaw, who comes from a multi-generational acting family and graduated from the National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw. Active since 1993, he has appeared in over 30 films and television shows, establishing himself in various roles. His notable filmography includes playing Wiktor in the TV movie Karol: A Man Who Became Pope (2005), a student named Andrzej in Jutro idziemy do kina (Tomorrow We're Going to the Movies) (2007), and Tomasz Limanowski in the German-Polish drama Remembrance (Zagubiony Czas) (2011), which is based on the true story of a love that blossomed and was separated during World War II in a concentration camp. More recently, he is known for his role as the former MMA fighter "Golden" in the 2021 crime drama Furioza and its subsequent series. He has also featured in popular Polish TV series such as Egzamin z życia (Life Exam) and Na dobre i na złe (For Better and For Worse).
