Matthew Helderman, born in 1987 in Connecticut, U.S., is an American film producer and entrepreneur. He founded Buffalo 8 Productions in 2010 while an undergraduate student at Lake Forest College, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Buffalo 8 has grown into a significant production company, delivering projects to clients like Sony and Lionsgate, with notable productions including the Netflix original film "Rodney King" directed by Spike Lee, and the global Netflix hit "Conversations With a Killer: Jeffrey Dahmer" directed by Joe Berlinger. In 2013, Helderman co-founded BondIt Media Capital, where he serves as CEO, deploying substantial capital into over 400 film, television, and media projects. He also co-managed the acquisition of ABS Payroll in 2017, an entertainment payroll firm, and currently serves as an Executive Director, Partner, and Board Member, having overseen its sale to Vensure Employer Services. Helderman is a featured TED speaker, has been profiled in the New York Times, and is a member of YPO.
